The demonstrators protesting against the death of Diren Basan (14), who was killed on Friday crashed by an armored police vehicle, were again violently attacked by police.  

When hundreds came together today at Cumhuriyet Area for the protest against Basan’s death, security forces attacked the people with gas bombs and batons and a conflict broke out between police and demonstrators who responded to police with stones and rods. The clash has expanded into other districts and the riots continued into the night.
