Widespread hunger strikes by prisoners demanding an end to the aggravated isolation imposed upon Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Ocalan have continued since December 16, 2018.
Relatives of prisoners on hunger strikes in the Gebze Prison have been holding a vigil by the prison for several days to draw attention to the resistance and to protest the silence.
Police attacked the vigil today and detained several mothers.
