Police-backed fascists attack thousands of HDP supporters who were walking to the area where HDP’s Erzurum rally will take place today. Despite the fascists’ provocation attempts, thousands filled the rally area.

Fascist groups attempted to provoke HDP supporters before today’s HDP rally in the city. As HDP supporters arrived at the rally area, fascist groups gathered at the area’s entrance and began to chant against the HDP. Despite the nearby police barricade, fascists insulted and threw stones at HDP supporters.

Some HDP supporters responded to these fascist attacks and tensions rose. Fascist provocations continue as thousands of HDP supporters fill the rally area. Police and military forces have also been placed near the rally area.
