Police carry out new arrests in Adana

Many houses were raided as part of a new political police operation in Adana this morning.

In the political police operation carried out within the scope of the investigation launched by the Adana Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, 15 people were issued with an arrest order. They are accused to having taken part in social events and "made propaganda for a terrorist organization" on social media. Turkish police carried out simultaneous raids this morning, but the number of people taken into custody could not be established.

While the number of detainees could not be determined, it was stated that the doors of some houses were broken with rams and a search was made.
