Five more people were detained in the political genocide operations carried out in Mersin. The number of detentions increased to 11.

Within the scope of the political genocide investigation carried out by the Mersin Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, many houses were raided by police in the morning hours. Ramazan Arslan, Celal Arslan, Bedran Etiz, Hebat Sayın and Helat Sayın, were all taken into custody following the raids during which they were beaten by police.

Ali Bilen, Hebun Yüksekdağ, Dilan Demir, Cejna Saruhan, 6 weeks pregnant and disabled Sohbet Aslan and 75% disabled İlhan Yükkol are all kept at the Provincial Gendarmerie Command.
