Kurdish Communities Union (KCK) says postponement of Kurdish student Habibullah Latifi's execution is an important step.

KCK issued a written statement today saying that Kurdish people will respond positively to amicable steps by the Iranian regime.

The statement says execution of death sentences would only deepen the current problems in Iran and welcomed the decision to postpone the execution of Habibullah Latifi.

The organization said only friendship between nations will solve the problems in the region.

KCK called Iran to solve the Kurdish Question by peaceful means adding that this would be in accordance with the interests of region's people.
