The Peoples’ Equality and Democracy Party (DEM Party), Democratic Regions Party (DBP) and Free Women’s Movement (Tevgera Jinên Azad-TJA) and many institutions representatives distributed brochures in the center and districts of Amed to call on people to attend the Freedom Rally that will be held in the city on Sunday 13 October.

The work on Tuesday was carried out in Sur and Yenişehir districts. DEM Party deputies Sabahat Erdoğan Sarıtaş, Adalet Kaya and Ferit Şenyaşar joined the preparations. Many houses and markets were visited in the Pâluke (Çarıklı) neighborhood.

Ferit Şenyaşar said: "We invite all our peace-loving people to participate in the rally to be held in Istasyon Square on 13 October in order to break the shackles and chains."

In Yenişehir district, TJA activists, DEM Party deputies Sabahat Erdoğan Sarıtaş, Adalet Kaya and many others distributed leaflets calling on people to attend.

Sabahat Erdoğan Sarıtaş said: "We are meeting for freedom against conspiracy on Sunday. We do not accept war, poverty, violence and isolation imposed on us."

DEM Party Amed MP, Adalet Kaya, also drew attention to the importance of the rally.
