Following the tension with prosecutor who refused the lawyers' demand to testify in front of the investigating prosecutor, lawyers of PKK Leader Abdullah Öcalan have started to give their testimonies.

It grabbed attention that the prosecutor asked lawyers “why they met with Öcalan”, "if they received instruction from Öcalan” and “if they conveyed instructions to Qandil”. The accusations of earlier cases of lawyers and records of their telephone interviews with their clients were also added in the investigation file and presented as “evidence”.

During the testimony, Asrýn Law Office secretary Zeynep Arat was asked “when meetings were held, who visited the office” and “why she worked there for six years”.

Lawyers are expected to make a statement after the completion of all testimonies.
