A prosecutor from the Doðubeyazýt district of Aðrý, who was critically injured in an armed attack on Sunday, has died.

Hakan Kýlýç died at Ankara's Yýldýrým Beyazýd University Atatürk Research and Training Hospital early this morning.

Kýlýç was shot by an unidentified individual as he was getting into his car after leaving a shop Sunday afternoon.

Police are still searching for the assailant, who fled the scene.
