Protest against racist attack targeting Kurdish students at Akdeniz University

Students protesting the racist attack against Kurdish students at Akdeniz University said that they would resist any kind of attack.

Akdeniz University students came together to protest the attack against Kurdish students carried out by a racist group of 30 people on the Akdeniz University Campus.

Students, who made a statement in Olbia Çarşı inside Akdeniz University, said that racist groups entered the campus by waving their arms.

The students said that the police remained silent about what happened and added that they would resist all kinds of racist attacks.

After making a statement, the students marched inside the campus and chanted slogans such as "Akdeniz will be a graveyard for fascism", "Shoulder to shoulder against fascism".

A racist group of 30 people attacked 3 Kurdish students sitting in the campus.
Two of the students who were attacked, Botan Artuç and Feyzi Akan were treated at Akdeniz Medical Faculty Hospital, while the third student, Hatice Tonğ, was taken to Atatürk State Hospital.
