Thousands of people have shown up in the central Istanbul square of Taksim to protest against the decision by the High Elections Board to exclude 7 BDP sponsored candidates.

According to witness the police have violently attacked the demonstration. Many people have been wounded and a large number of protesters have been detained where they tried to walk to Aksaray.
