Clashes broke out last night in Cizre district of Þýrnak during the protest demonstrations against 15 February conspiracy. During the conflict which lasted till late hours at night, police intervention with TOMA vehicles, gas bombs and pressure water was responded with stones and fireworks by demonstrators.

The group of Kurdish demonstrators made a barricade on the way to Ýdil district and chanted slogans on behalf of the PKK (Kurdistan Workers’ Party).

Clashes continued till midnight in Cudi and Nur Neighborhoods.

Demonstrations against 15 February conspiracy were also staged in Diyarbakýr where an explosion occurred late at night in front Kayapýnar district governorship.

Kurdish protestors used a blast bomb and set an official car on fire.

While the fire was brought under control in a short time, a large number of police teams were sent to the scene.

Police launched an operation in the area and took a ‘suspect’ into custody.

One other protest act was staged in Seyhan district of Adana where an elementary school was targeted with a high explosive bomb at around 20.00 in the evening.

Apo’s Youth Initiative claimed responsibility for the bomb attack which –they stated- was staged to protest the isolation on Kurdish people’s leader Abdullah Öcalan and the increasing political and military operations against Kurds.
