PYD co-chair Moslem speaks at the Syriza Congress in Athens

Speaking at the 2nd Congress of SYRIZA in Athens, PYD co-chair Saleh Moslem stated that Kurds and Greeks had historical relations and both folks had a common fate.

PYD (Democratic Union Party) co-chair Saleh Moslem attended and spoke at the 2nd Congress of SYRIZA which kicked off in Athens two days ago and will last till October 16.

SYRIZA is expected to make a breakthrough and major revisions during the congress which is also attended by leading politicians from socialist parties around the world and Kurdistan, including HDP (Peoples' Democratic Party) co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş, PYD (Democratic Union Party) co-chair Saleh Moslem and PUK (Patriotic Union of Kurdistan) Politburo member Melle Bahtiyar.

HDP co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş spoke at the Congress yesterday and put emphasis on the importance of a joint struggle and resistance against fascism and exploitation together regardless of borders.

PYD co-chair Saleh Moslem and PUK Politburo member Melle Bahtiyar also presented their messages to the Congress.

Moslem stated that Kurds and Greeks had historical relations and both folks had a common fate.

PYD co-chair said a leftist government was a chance for Greece in the current process.
