Visitors are continuing to come and express their solidarity to Mehmet Ali Koçak, who is on an indefinite hunger strike in Geneva.
A delegation of the Democratic Union Party (PYD) visited Koçak during the day and emphasized the need for further solidarity in order to break isolation.
The hunger strike resistance carried out by Mehmet Ali Koçak, who is fasting since 20 February, has reached its 37th day.

Koçak said that his morale is as high as it was the first day of the hunger strike and added that he is determined to continue his protest until isolation is lifted.
The Kurdish activist said he spends most of the day reading news and chatting with the citizens visiting him to express their support.
He is continuing his action at the Geneva Democratic Kurdish Community Center, and was visited by a PYD delegation led by PYD Europe Spokesperson Zozan Derik and PYD Switzerland Representative Abbas Omar.
During the meeting Koçak celebrated the victory of the YPG, YPJ and SDF against ISIS and remarked that there was a need to enlarge the support for both the Rojava Revolution and the resistance against isolation.
Omar: Everyone should have a more sensitive approach
PYD Switzerland Representative Abbas Omar emphasized that in order to break isolation it was important to express solidarity with the hunger strikers.
“Today, - he said - we all need to ensure these actions grow” and added that everyone should have a more sensitive approach in order to ensure the end of isolation and fascism. “We are one hundred percent sure that we will win, - he said - we will free our leader.”
