Raqqa Operation: Clashes continue in city center
The clashes in Raqqa city center between SDF fighters and ISIS gangs continue. In clashes last night in 4 different neighborhoods, 24 gang members have been killed.
The Operation to Liberate Raqqa launched by the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) on June 6 continues with the advance of the fighters.
7 gang members were killed in clashes in the Mansur neighborhood to the east of Raqqa. There have been clashes in the western end of the city as well, 8 gang members were killed in the Mirur neighborhood and 5 others in the Nahda neighborhood.
Meanwhile in clashes in the Batani neighborhood to the west of the city, 4 gang members were killed.
3 SDF fighters who fought to the end against the ISIS gangs were martyred in yesterday’s clashes.
