Resistance continues despite pro-regime demonstrations

Protestors took it to the streets for the ninth day despite the pro-regime demonstrations took place in Iran.

After the pro-regime demonstrations which were organized by the Iranian government, protestors took it to the streets on Wednesday night throughout Iran.

Protestors chanted slogans, “Death to the dictator”, “Work, bread, freedom” as they protested Tehran administration’s oppression and economic policy.

Tens of thousands attended the night-time rallies in Tehran, Ilam, Kerec, Xuzistan, Loristan, Kermanshah, Mazenderan, Isfahan, Shiraz, Hamedan, Ehwaz, Fars and Xarasani Razavi.

In Tehran, thousands gathered together in different neighbourhoods of the city and protested the government.

Clashes reported in Mescid Suleiman and Ehwaz and local sources said that gunshot were heard as Iranian police attacked demonstrators.

In Guherdast, protestors clashed with Besic militia. Many motorbikes of the militia were set on fire by the protestors.

Opposition sources say that protests were carried out also in Melayer, Desful, Kazirun, Cokabad, Shiraz, Sebzewar and Noshar.
