Roj TV is like a child of the Kurdish people, said BDP MP Leyla Zana who held official talks in Denmark including with Danish Parliamentary Speaker, General President of the ruling Party of Social Democrats and foreign affairs spokesman of the Socialist People’s Party.

Meeting with press members at the Denmark Central Office of Roj TV, Zana remarked that she visited Denmark to act in solidarity with Roj TV which –she added- reflects the developments in Kurdistan and Turkey with objectivity and enlightened many events including the murder of seven civilians who were targeted by Turkish warplanes during the attack on Qandil on August 21 of this year.

On the other hand, Roj TV former project and advertisement adviser Johannes Bjerrum Sand was heard at today’s trial of the Roj TV case which continues at Copenhagen City Court since August 15.

Sand remarked that the former director of Roj TV, Manoucher Zanoozi, had arbitrarily hindered many projects and works of the TV and refused Zanoozi’s statements out of countenance of Roj TV.

Sand added that the advertisement revenues of Roj TV decreased after many international companies had suspended their advertisement agreements with Roj TV as a result of diplomatic attempts of the Turkish state.
