Saturday Mothers had guests from Morocco

The Saturday Mothers have gathered for the 351st times in front of Galatasaray High School, in Istanbul to ask justice for their children who disappeared, abducted by secret security forces mostly in 1990s.

In all these years mothers had many guests, especially mothers of disappeared people from Morocco to Argentina, to share their painful stories.

Mother from Morocco, Fatna Elboi, addressed the crowd on Saturday and said that there is no difference between mothers’ tears and grieves. She added that they will dedicate a monument in Morocco to always remembered those killed by officials or buried in many mass graves.

Mothers dedicated the meeting to Mehmet Þirin Maltu, who disappeared on November 29, 1994 in Zediye Village in Kozluk, a district of Batman.

Kurdish Saturday Mothers (Dayikên Þemiyê) in Cizre, a district of Þýrnak, gathered to commemorate their disappeared children.

This meeting was dedicated to Fikri Þen missing since 1993.
