Schools closed during ISIS occupation in Manbij's Arîma town reopened

Two schools that had been shut down after the ISIS occupation of Arîma town in Manbij were reopened after the efforts of the Manbij Education Committee.

ISIS gangs had pillaged and closed the schools during their occupation in Arîma town of Manbij.

Manbij Education Committee members visited Arîma town and began to assess the damage inflicted on the schools here. After the damage assessment and following preparations, the committee opened the two schools in the town yesterday.

Teachers were assigned and desks and chairs were brought to both of the schools.

Currently, 6 teachers work for these schools where 200 students attend the classes.
