The eastern and western neighborhods of Raqqa are witnessing heavy clashes since June 22. ISIS gangs have attacked the liberated al-Barid and Romaniya neighborhoods with bomb-laden vehicles and suicide bombers.

SDF fighters destroyed the bomb-laden vehicles that attempted to target the SDF positions in al-Barid neighborhood. 3 ISIS groups, each with 4-6 members, and their panzers were also destroyed.

In Qadisiya neighborhood southwest of the city, SDF fighters delivered heavy blows to the gangs on June 22-23, and destroyed 3 bomb-laden vehicles of the gangs. The fighters destroyed the bomb-laden vehicles set to target them on June 24, while 3 ISIS groups, each with 5 members, were also killed. The neighborhood witnessed heavy clashes yesterday as ISIS gangs launched attacks with heavy weaponry, facing immediate and strong response from SDF, which left many gang members dead. The neighborhood was cleared of ISIS yesterday.

The Raqqa city is witnessing heavy fighting between SDF and ISIS since June 22. SDF forces are making further advances despite the ISIS gangs' efforts to stop them with bomb-laden vehicles, missiles and mortars.
