SDF liberates Mirur neighbourhood west of Raqqa

YPG-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) have liberated the Mirur neighbourhood of Raqqa following fierce clashes with ISIS.
The operation to liberate Raqqa, dubbed the ‘Great Battle’ that was launched in June continues with further advances by the YPG-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
SDF fighters have liberated the Mirur neighbourhood west of Raqqa following fierce clashes, during which the gangs were inflicted heavy blows. The fighters also downed a drone of the gangs and seized two bomb-laden vehicles of theirs in the neighbourhood.
In the meantime, fighting between SDF and ISIS continues in four neighborhoods of the city.
70 percent of the Raqqa city has been liberated by the SDF from ISIS since the launch of the Great Battle on June 6.
