Two villages northwest of Tabqa liberated by SDF

SDF fighters have captured two villages and a wheat silo from ISIS northwest of the Tabqa town.

Syrian Democratic Forces have mobilized to strengthen the northern line of defense after the eastern defense line around the Tabqa town. As part of the campaign, SDF fighters have moved on the villages of Abû Asî and al-Mushayrifah northwest of Tabqa Thursday afternoon. 

After taking control of the Mishêrfa village, SDF fighters cleared the adjacent wheat silo of ISIS gangs following two hours of clashes.

The village of Abû Asî was also liberated by SDF forces today afternoon. Several ISIS members were killed in clashes.

Abû Asî village is located 18 km and al-Mushayrifah 17 km northwest of Tabqa.
