Fighters of the YPG-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) that continue their advance towards the Tabqa city as part of the Operation Wrath of Euphrates to liberate Raqqa have rescued a number of civilians living in Tabqa region.
The rescued civilians have been transferred to safe areas where they met with other civilians evacuated from ISIS-held areas to SDF-held territory.
The city of Tabqa is located 40 km southwest of Raqqa and is besieged by SDF from three sides at the moment.
