Shop did not opened today in Cizre to protest against yesterday violent handling by police of a demonstration in support to jailed Kurdish politicians.
Twenty six people have been detained following yesterday attack by the police to the BDP headquarters. Police used tear gas to disperse the crowd and started a man hunt outside the buildings. The rally had been organised by BDP (Peace and Democracy Party) to support Kurdish jailed politicians. There are thousands of Kurdish politicians and human rights activists in jail. The biggest trial being that under the name of KCK (Confederation of Kurdistan Communities) which opened in Diyarbakir last October.
