Six villages liberated in Operation Cizire Storm
SDF liberated six villages from ISIS gangs as part of their Operation Cizire Storm to clear Deir ez-Zor territory.
YPG-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) continue their advance in the Operation Cizire Storm that started on 9 September in the rural areas of Deir ez-Zor.
Yesterday morning, SDF fighters launched an operation to liberate six villages under ISIS occupation and after fierce clashes with ISIS gangs, the following six villages were liberated in the night:
El Edil, 50 km east of Deir ez-Zor
El Hirce, 46 km east of Deir ez-Zor
Kewashir, 70 km east of Deir ez-Zor
El Rughay, 72 km northeast of Deir ez-Zor
El Aya, 48 km east of Deir ez-Zor
Bixwere, 28 km southeast of Deir ez-Zor
