SOHR reports new Turkish reinforcement to Idlib

New reinforcement sent to Taftnaz military airbase in southern Idlib.

The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights (SOHR) reported a Turkish military convoy crossing into Syria via Kafr Lusin border crossing with Iskenderun.

Accordingly, the convoy consisted of tanks, trucks carrying heavy artillery pieces and eight armoured vehicles and covered vehicles. The convoy headed to the Turkish military airbase of Taftnaz in the southern countryside of Idlib.

On May 14, SOHR had reported the arrival of new logistics reinforcement of the Turkish forces, including 20 trucks loaded with cement blocks, in the “de-escalation zone”. The trucks were later headed to the Turkish military points in Idlib province.
