As in many other cities in Germany, solidarity events for Rojava took place in Munich and Kassel on Sunday.

At the event in Munich, Kurdish politician in exile Demir Çelik, on behalf of the Europe-wide umbrella organization KCDK-E, condemned the Turkish invasion of Northeast Syria and called for support for the resistance against the occupation. The music program included Hozan Diyar, Hozan Aydın, Deng û Veng, Koma Avaşin and GerillaSystem.

At the event in Kassel, Ibrahim Şen and Leyla Saruxan welcomed the guests as co-chair of the Kurdish Community Centre. Xoşnav Ata from the Kurdish umbrella organisation FED-DEM criticised the inaction of the international community in the face of the invasion of Rojava in violation of international law. Afterwards, the children's choir Tirêja Rojê and many other musicians performed.
