While Kurdish activists Şivan Ağaoğlu and Sultan Yiğit have been on an indefinite hunger strike in Vienna for 54 days, a five-day solidarity hunger strike was started in the Austrian capital yesterday demanding the end of the isolation imposed on the Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

At the Heldenplatz near the Austrian Parliament, participants of the hunger strike action will be informing the public about the ongoing hunger strike resistance of the Kurdish people between 11 am and 4 pm every day.
