After a minute of silence in the memory of the martyrs of the Rojava Revolution, the night promoted by Gävle Democratic Kurdish Community Center began.

In the speeches made at the event, the Turkish state's threats against Rojava were condemned. Likewise the isolation imposed on Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan was protested.

It was emphasized that the threats issued by the Turkish state would not intimidate the Kurdish people and the Kurdish Freedom Movement that have always fought against the concept of annihilation.

The Kurdish people and their friends were urged to strengthen the solidarity with Rojava and to support hunger strike actions to remove the isolation of Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan.
