Strategic Metab village liberated in the Operation Wrath of Euphrates
Fighters of the YPG-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) continue making advances in the Operation Wrath of Euprates to liberate Raqqa from ISIS occupation.
SDF fighters making further advances in villages between Raqqa and Deir ez-Zor have liberated the strategically important Metab village from ISIS Saturday morning.
Wrath of Euphrates fighters have taken the Metab village, 56 km southeast of Raqqa, under their control this morning in the wake of continued heavy clashes since yesterday.
SDF fighters continue making advances along the bank of the Euphrates River.
