Seventeen students have been arrested in Dersim, Urfa and Erzincan. In Dersim five students have been taken into custody, in Urfa six and in Erzincan seven.

All of the students are thought to have been taken into custody in the context of the KCK (Kurdish Communities Confederation) operation.
