Students at Payame Noor University in Meriwan protested the repression by the University authorities.

According to the Political Prisoners Defense Campaign, the students organized a protest against the difficulties and prohibition they facend when organizing activities.

Among the issues risen by students the restriction they faced for the publication of a student magazine and an additional 15% increase in the tuition fees.
