A suicide attack has been carried out near the Governor’s office in the city of Hewler in South Kurdistan.

At around 11:30 this morning local time security forces noticed a bomb laden vehicle moving towards the Hewler Governor’s office. Eye witnesses said that the vehicle was blown up before it could reach the governor’s office.

It is reported that 4 people died in the attack, 2 of them police and 2 civilians.
