Supreme Election Board publishes final election results

Ten days after the elections, the YSK issued final official results.

The Supreme Election Board (YSK) announced the final results of the general and presidential elections held on 24 June.

According to the statement, presidential candidates received the following votes:  Recep Tayyip Erdogan 26.330.823 votes (52.59%), Muharrem İnce 15.340.321 (30.64%), Selahattin Demirtaş 4.205.794 (8.40%), Meral Akşener 3.649.030 (7.28%), Temel Karamollaoğlu 443.704 (0.89 per cent) and Dogu Perinçek 98.955 (0.20 per cent).

According to YSK's statement the number of registered voters was 59.367.469. The voters actually casting their vote were 51.197.959.

The number of valid votes was 50.068.627, while the number of invalid votes was 1.029.332.

The electoral participation rate was confirmed at 86.24 percent.

According to the results, the parties got the following deputies who will conform the 27th assembly: AKP 295, MHP 49, HDP 67, CHP 146, IYI Party 43.

None of the independent candidates managed to enter the Assembly.

AKP Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has been elected the new President.
