Sydney protested Turkish attacks on Rojava

The Turkish state invasion and genocide attacks against Rojava were protested in Sydney, Australia.

In Sydney, Kurds and representatives of many political parties and civil society organizations met in Town Hall Square.

Green Party deputy David Shoebridge made a speech to condemn the Turkish occupation.

Shoebridge said that the Turkish state are carrying out war crimes that should not go unpunished and urged the federal government to take action.

"The Turkish state - he said - is trying to carry out an ethnic cleansing against the Kurdish people in Rojava."

Brusk Aiveri from the organizing committee urged the international community, particularly the UN, to take action so that the attacks can end immediately.

Speaking on behalf of the Socialist Alliance, Peter Boyle said that everyone who believes in democracy and human rights should be united around the Rojava revolution, adding: "Everyone should do their part, and be the voice of the Rojava revolution."
