At least 11 civilians were killed in an airstrike targeting a crowded marketplace in Idlib.
Warplanes struck Maaret al-Numan, a town near Idlib which is under Tahrir al-Sham’s (Jabhat Al-Nusra) control, on Sunday afternoon. At least 11 were killed and more than 20 wounded.
ANHA News Agency reported that the attack was carried out by Assad regime. Syrian Observatory for Human Rights also made a similar statement.
As Turkey is preparing for an invasion to northern parts of Idlib, Russia and Syrian regime intensified its airstrikes and artillery bombing of the region.
