Tabqa Siege: Safsafah villages cleansed of ISIS

The North and South Safsafah villages to the east of Tabqa have been liberated by fighters of the YPG-led Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF) in the Operation Wrath of Euphrates.
The Safsafah villages are of strategic importance for the liberation of the Tabqa city center. Dozens of ISIS members were killed during the past two days of clashes in both villages.
SDF fighters continue advancing towards the Tabqa city center.
