Temelli: We will make important changes starting from tomorrow

“The wind has arrived early. There is a wind of democracy and peace blowing."

HDP Co-chair Sezai Temelli has cast his vote in Istanbul for today’s local elections.

In a short comment after casting his vote, HDP Co-chair Sezai Temelli wished a happy election for the peoples of Turkey, workers, women, youth, all those victimised in this country and everyone else.

Temelli continued; “The wind has arrived early. There is a wind of democracy and peace blowing. We believe that these elections in Turkey will first of all change the language of the manner of politics. It will free the language of politics of discrimination and hate remarks and a wind of change will blow for a new life in Turkey, for those who hope for this new life.”

HDP Co-chair added; “During one month, we have been running after this hope all around Turkey, together with all my friends, our co-chair, members of our Central Executive Board, deputies, Party Assembly members and all our provincial and district organisations members. We have never left this hope alone. We trust that we will be experiencing significant changes in the name of democracy and peace in Turkey starting from tomorrow. We have fulfilled our duty as a citizen today. I hope it will be for the good of everyone.”
