Police violently detained tens of people that participated in the "Democratic resistance against the intervention" rally organized by the HDP in Istanbul. Police officers beat and detain civilians that were leaving the rally area.

Some of the detained people are Mehmet Şirin Bayrak, Akif Çalışçı, Evindar Güzel, and Muhammed Yalvaç. Tensions are high between the police and some lawyers and HDP officials.
