Adana Association of Solidarity with the Families of the Convicted and the Unconvicted Prisoners (TUHAD-DER) has declared they will be going on a hunger strike in the “End the isolation, free the imprisoned” tent they have put up in the Seyhan district of Adana in order to protest against the continuous violations and the isolation in the prisons in Çukurova region.

Inviting all to the opening of the tent, TUHAD-DER Adana Branch Chair Ahmet Doðan said: “This violations and isolation is not a problem that concerns prisoners’ families only. The prisons are an issue which need to be dealt with by everybody in Turkey.”
