The "Öcalan Library" concludes its France tour

The “Öcalan Library - Freedom for Öcalan and All Political Prisoners” bus that promotes Kurdish leader Öcalan’s thoughts, ideology, biography and books has concluded its France tour with a rally organized at the Republiqe Square in Paris.

The “Öcalan Library - Freedom for Öcalan and All Political Prisoners” bus that promotes Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan’s thoughts, ideology, biography and books was welcomed with enthusiasm at the Republiqe Square in Paris on Thursday.

The bus reached the square at 6 p.m. and was welcomed by representatives of French institutions, people from Kurdistan and their French friends, Paris Govend Assembly and Paris TEV-ÇAND members, with people dancing halay and chanting "Liberez Öcalan" slogan.

Speakers at the Republiqe Square were KCDK-E co-chair Fatoş Göksungur, KCDK-E board member Murat Ceylan, Green Party representative Sergio Coronado, politician Patrick Farbiaz, Catalonia People’s Assembly member Daniel Villard and France Democratic Confederalism member Alain Touboul.

Stating that a long-lasting peace in Kurdistan and the Middle East can only be ensured through Öcalan's freedom, speakers pointed out that "it is the YPJ/YPG fighters, who liberated Raqqa fighting against the barbarian ISIS gangs. European countries have to take the PKK off the terror list".

The activity ended with the performance of artists from TEV-ÇAND, accompanied by Kurdish traditional dance halay and slogans demanding freedom for the Kurdish leader.
