The Börü Case combined with Demirtaş’ case

The Yasin Börü casefile was combined with the casefile for imprisoned HDP Co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş. With this verdict, Demirtaş will also be tried for the events that broke out during the October 6-8 protests.

The AKP government has taken another step in putting the responsibility for their political murders and the deaths during social unrests on HDP.

The court handling the casefile for the imprisoned Peoples’ Democratic Party Co-chair Selahattin Demirtaş, the Ankara High Criminal Court No.19, has appealed to the Ankara High Criminal Court No.2 to have the casefile combined with the case of Yasin Börü and 3 other Hüda-Par members who lost their lives during the October 6-8 Kobanê demonstrations in 2014.

Ankara High Criminal Court No.2 has approved the appeal and ruled to have the two cases combined. The same court had rejected the same appeal before.

With this verdict, Demirtaş will also be tried for the events that broke out during the October 6-8 protests.

WHILE ISIS GANGS ARE RELEASED

The verdict comes at a time when ISIS members are being released from prisons. In Amed, all ISIS suspects, including Nihat Turan were released “considering the time they already served in prison awaiting trial”. Nihat Turan was responsible for the Tawheed Reading Salon acting in the name of ISIS, and he was arrested following a clash that left 3 policemen and 7 ISIS members dead.

HEZBOL-CONTRA SUPPORT

The Hezbol-Contra used by the AKP during the October 6-8 demonstrations had surfaced once more in the recent years. This gang-like group is alleged to be armed by the AKP in Northern Kurdistan.

Turkish President Tayyip Erdoğan thanking this group with no serious base in Kurdistan every time there is a rise in tensions is seen as a result of this relationship.

It had come to light that the AKP added Hezbol-Contra to the list of their allies after the coup attempt.
