Thirty six people have ben remanded in custody in Diyarbakýr early this morning. A total 43 people had been arrested last Tuesday in the context of the so called "KCK" (Kurdish Communities Unin). The 36 people have been accused of being member of an illegal organization and of participating to activities by the same organization.

The Court listened to the statements of the detainees for hours. Among those remanded in custody are BDP Diyarbakýr co-chair Ömer Önen, Baðlar Council deputy mayor Derya Tamriþ and BDP Baðlar president Ali Yüce.
