Thousands of Kurdish youths rally for freedom for Öcalan in Düsseldorf

Thousands of Kurdish youths are joining a march in Düsseldorf demanding physical freedom for Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

As many as 10 thousand Kurdish youths from across Europe have gathered in the German city of Düsseldorf Saturday afternoon for a demo demanding physical freedom for Kurdish People's Leader Abdullah Öcalan.

Demonstrators started to march to the NRW State Parliament after gathering outside Düsseldorf's central train station, carrying photographs and banners of Öcalan, PKK, KCK, YPG, Komalen Ciwan, Mazlum Doğan and Che Guevara.

The demo led by Ciwanên Azad is also supported by left-wing movements from Turkey and Germany.

Demonstrators are also protesting the German state's ban on PKK and repression of Kurdish politicians. The demo will continue with a rally outside the NRW State Parliament.
