A tent went on fire which was reportedly set by an electric heater in the state-run AFAD tent city which was built on Urfa road with an aim to severe the Kobanê people from the six tent cities opened by the municipality of Suruç following an influx in the face of the intensified attacks by the ISIS.
A tent where Mihemed family was staying burnt down in the fire that erupted at 1 o'clock last night. 13-year-old Diyar, 12-year-old Şiyar and 14-year-old Ali from the family sustained injuries on various parts of their bodies.
Diyar and Ali were taken to Suruç state hospital from which they were discharged following immediate treatment, while Şiyar was referred to Mehmet Akif Training and Research Hospital in Urfa.
