Three-day march kicks off in Hamburg

The march is staged to protest the international conspiracy against Abdullah Öcalan and Turkish invasion of northern Syria.

A three-day long march has kicked off in the German city of Hamburg in protest at the 15 February international conspiracy against Kurdish People’s Leader Abdullah Öcalan and Turkish invasion of Rojava.

The activists gathered in front of the Hamburg Parliament where they handed out flyers about the goal of the protest. The first stage of the march has been concluded with a rally at the Gansemarkt public square.

Imam Cömert from the Organisation Committee stated that the second stage of the march will start from Altona and conclude in front of the Damtor Prison tomorrow, Saturday. He noted that St Pauli football team fans will also support the march.

Saturday’s march to kick off from the Grosseberg Street at 12:00 is expected to witness participation from Hamburg, Kiel and Bremen.
