Three more persons detained over attack on HDP Marmaris office

Three more people have been detained as part of the investigation launched into the armed attack against the Marmaris office of the Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP).

An armed attack was carried out against the HDP’s Marmaris office in the morning hours on Wednesday, July 14.

District Co-Mayor Güven Göknar filed a complaint about the attacker after his statement was taken regarding the incident.

In the meantime, three more people have been detained according to the Mezopotamya News Agency which cited lawyers.

It is reported that these three people were the attacker’s uncle, friend and taxi driver who helped the main attacker A.T.D.

It is further reported that a 4-day detention period was requested for the suspects.
