Tribute to Ivana Hoffmann and Özgür Namoğlu in Paris

Ivana Hoffmann and Özgür Namoğlu, who fell as martyrs in Rojava, were commemorated with a photographic and picture exhibition in Paris.

Before the Ivana Hoffmann Festival to be held in Duisburg, tomorrow, Saturday, a painting exhibition was organized by Paris Young Struggle in the République square of Paris.

In the event organized as part of the Ivana Action Week, some pictures of guerrilla life were exhibited, along with various photos depicting the lives of Ivana Hoffmann and Özgür Namoğlu, who fell as martyrs in Rojava.

In the opening speech on behalf of Paris Young Struggle, it was underlined that both martyrs did not show the slightest hesitation in sacrificing their lives to defend the revolution.

Speakers said that the life practices of both martyrs are more meaningful today, when the Rojava Revolution was threatened by the colonialist Turkish state and daily massacres were experienced. In the speech, which emphasized that learning from the martyrs is essential for a strong revolution for all revolutionaries, and especially young communists, a call was made to attend the festival to be held in Duisburg tomorrow.

The cake cut for Özgür Namoğlu's birthday was shared with the participants.
