Turkish Minister of Health, Fahrettin Koca held a press conference following the Science Council meeting on Wednesday.

Koca stated that the rate of confirmed Covid-19 cases in Istanbul was at 60 percent, and a decrease has been observed in the metropolises.

According to the minister, the death toll from coronavirus has risen to 4,746 with the death of another 17 people during the past 24 hours. 922 more people have been confirmed infected, bringing the total number to 173,036.
