Guven’s remarks came after Turkish army killed 1 and wounded seven civilians in two separate incidents in Hakkari and Diyarbakir.
Guven accused Turkish state of deliberately targeting civilians in Kurdistan and said almost all of the incidents are not subjected to a criminal investigation even if they resulted killing of civilians or not.
“When a Turkish panzer kills two children in Silopi they say it's an accident. When four civilians are killed in Yuksekova they say that the automatic weapon on top of the armored vehicle started firing itself. We know that all of these are not accidents. They are deliberate attacks” Guven said.
Guven criticized one-sided reporting by Turkish media and said the reports about the incidents in Kurdistan can be presented as “accidents” to people in western Turkey but Kurdish people know that none of these are accidents.
TURKISH STATE FORCES PEOPLE TO LEAVE THEIR LAND
Guven says Turkish states attacks against civilians aims to empty the region, force the population to migrate and leave their village and land. Citing burning of more than 4 thousand villages in 1990s Guven believes that the Turkish state is following the same concept that led to the forcible removal of more than 1 million Kurdish villagers.
“This is a part of their plan to ‘finish off the PKK’. They want to open the way for so-called more effective fighting against the PKK and commit autocracies. They don’t want to leave any witnesses behind who will report their crimes against humanity. They force people to leave their homes. When Kurdish people refuse Turkish state intimidate them by killing civilians” Guven said.
Guven pointed to the detention of victims of recent attacks in Hakkari and Diyarbakir and said “Turkish state prevents victims of contacting with their families. Because if they speak everybody will see the statements by Suleyman Soylu (Interior Minister of Turkey) are all lies.”
All victims of the recent attacks in Hakkari and Diyarbakir are now in custody and they are denied of any contact with their lawyers or families.
Guven called Suleyman Soylu “a student of Mehmet Agar” who is the mastermind behind Turkish autocracies in the 1990s.
Saying “The level of resistance rises when the level of persecution rises” Guven stated that Kurdish people won’t leave their land and continue to resist against oppressive policies by Erdogan’s regime.
